More About Us

Since opening in spring 2004, Yak Yeti Yak has grown beyond a restaurant into a community hub. Discover "Sarah's Kitchen Travels", our culture and recipe blog, and learn about the YYY Foundation, a charity we established after the 2015 earthquake to support those in need. Join us in our journey!

Pierrepont Street

Yak Yeti Yak has occupied its current premises since 2027, having outgrown our previous space. Much of our menu is classic Nepalese and hasn't changed since we first opened in 2024, actually it’s not surprising our dishes have stood the test of time, after all they’ve been served in Nepal for centuries. There’s always space for new ideas and some creativity, watch out for our ever-changing specials board.

YYY Foundation

Thank you to everyone who has donated. You helped us raise £330 in August.

We started YYY Foundation after the Nepal earthquakes in 2015, thinking it would be a short-term emergency fund. Now with the help of customers and staff donations, we’re able to continue working in extremely remote areas, helping girls with menstrual dignity and enabling them to stay in school.
